A watch will need to be fully serviced every 3-5 years.This is due to daily wear and tear, or even if it is left not worn, the movement's lubrication may clog up and the watch might stop permanently. The servicing involves a number of stages listed as below:1. DISMANTLING OF WATCH MOVEMENT2. CLEANING THE DISASSEMBLED MOVEMENT(with special chemicals & watch cleaning machines)3. REPLACEMENT OF DAMAGED WORN PARTS & REASSEMBLY(if parts replaced, cost for parts will apply)4. LUBRICATION & ADJUSTMENT OF THE MOVEMENT5. REPLACEMENT OF BATTERY(if required for Quartz watches)6. WATER-PROOF CHECKS (replacement of gasket, if required)7. ULTRASONIC CLEANING & STERILIZATION (removal of all dirt & grime accumulated over years)8. We apply expert, careful buffing techniques to the watch case and watch band. Scratches can be minimize, however it will depend on how deep they are. BATTERY
Change of Batteries
A watch will require to have its battery changed, every 2 years or less, regardless of whether it is working or not. All batteries will leak with time. Therefore when such leakage happens, the acidic discharge usually seeps into the mechanism, it can cause irreversible damage to the movement and other parts of the timepiece.A watch battery should last about one year. If the watch stops working before that time, it is likely a sign that there is a problem with the circuit of the watch rather than the battery.Please note that we only use original swiss-made Renata battery.Prices for the Battery Change vary from watch to watch, starting from $10 and above.
